Turns out the Matt Gaetz criminal probe is alive and well
Matt Gaetz is totally screwed six ways from Sunday. Or maybe eight ways, as evidenced by this Daily Beast article, which should be sweet music to many. There is the tendency with silence to think that means something is — over. In reality, that is not what silence means at all — at least not for Matt Gaetz.
For a long time now, we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see if an indictment against the Frankenstein clone is forthcoming. And according to eight sources, the federal probe is not nearly done with Gaetz yet — not nearly.
Eight sources have confirmed — to the Daily Beast that the story of what Gaetz did or did not do is still quietly unfolding. One person with knowledge of the case is Lyle Mazin. Mazin is representing a witness in the case, and what he said should send shivers down the spine of the High-haired Gaetz.
Quiet, Mazin explained, shouldn’t be mistaken for turning the other way. On the contrary, it merely means the prosecutors are “methodical.”
“He doesn’t let anything go,” Mazin explained about the Prosecutor. “If you’re going after a monster, you have to get it right — especially when you have a bunch of Trump supporters who’ll come after you.”
And Gaetz is, in fact, a monster. Indicting a monster does take time, but it is a relief to hear that the investigation is continuing. Several lawyers for both subjects and witnesses told the Daily Beast that they expect to continue talks with prosecutors. When contacted, a Gates spokesperson had no comment.
One attorney also said that prosecutors “only strike when the case is tightly built.” So hopefully, this is reassuring news. It will be a good day when monstrous Mattie is made to answer for what he did, and it looks like there is a very good chance that will happen.
