Turns out several people are cooperating with the DOJ against Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Donald Trump tried and failed to get ahold of the full unredacted search warrant affidavit, he was clearly trying to find out who within his orbit was secretly cooperating with the DOJ against him. Now we know that several people are in fact cooperating against him.

John Dean of all people, who probably never imagined he’d see a presidential scandal that would so massively eclipse Watergate, flagged this phrase from the partially unredacted affidavit: “a significant number of civilian witnesses.”

That’s right, the DOJ has a “significant number” of cooperating witnesses against Trump. What is a “significant” number? Four? Nine? Twenty? There’s no way to know. But the point is that there are so many witnesses, the identity of any one of them isn’t important.

These witnesses could be everyone from the Mar-a-Lago hired help, to Trump’s own family members. But given the number of witnesses involved, the DOJ’s case doesn’t rest simply on one person in Trump’s orbit having come forward against him. This means that even once Trump is on trial and these witnesses have to testify against him, he still won’t be able to get anywhere with the jury by trying to discredit any one of them.
