Turns out Mike Lindell wasn’t the only one who just had his phone seized
When the news broke on Wednesday that the FBI had seized Mike Lindell’s cellphone with a warrant, we pointed out that it was Lindell himself who broke the news, and not the FBI or the DOJ. That’s because the Feds don’t typically announce such things, or really announce anything, unless it’s an indictment. At the time we pointed out that it was likely that the Feds had also seized other Trump world phones as part of that same roundup, and that we would only learn about these if the targets ended up going public about it.
Sure enough, Mike Lindell associate Douglas Frank is now revealing that the FBI has also seized his cellphone. Interestingly enough, the Daily Beast says that both confiscations may be related to a breach of voting machines in Colorado in a futile attempt at proving Trump somehow secretly won the 2020 election.
Although Donald Trump wouldn’t necessarily have been involved in this particular plot, we’d guess the timing is not coincidental. These phone seizures put enormous pressure on Lindell to cut a cooperation deal against Trump. And if Lindell isn’t inclined to want to do that, there is now enormous pressure on Frank to flip on Lindell – which would then put more pressure on Lindell to flip on Trump.
