Turns out Donald Trump’s 2024 “campaign” doesn’t really exist
All along I’ve been referring to Donald Trump’s 2024 “campaign” in quotation marks because it’s not a real campaign. Trump is senile to the point of being non viable, and he’s only acting like he’s running for office as an excuse to raise money in order to pay his legal bills.
Trump hasn’t done any of the things that an actual campaign would do. He has no ground game. He doesn’t even appear to have hired a campaign manager. At this point he’s not even doing campaign rallies anymore. Whether he ends up with the Republican nomination or not, the whole thing is little more than a charade.
Now even right wingers are openly acknowledging that there truly is no Trump campaign:

It’s one thing for Trump to coast through a primary race in which his laughably incompetent Republican opponents all fell to pieces of their own accord. But in a general election, against a master campaigner like Joe Biden and a DNC with a strong ground game, Trump is setting himself up for a catastrophe.
But what does Trump care? He’s so deep into delusional senility, he appears to think he’s winning by a mile, that is when he’s even able to remember who he is. And the political money he’s raising all seems to be going to try to keep him out of the poor house (and the big house).
