I was an ardent Palmer Report reader long before I had the privilege of becoming a Palmer Report writer. I used to lurk the halls of Twitter and connect with people =– connect with fellow Democrats. They’re not so difficult to find. Anyway, when I’d find a Democrat who was feeling defeated, lonely, or perhaps disgusted by the political football game, I’d recommend a website to them: palmerreport.com
Oh yes, I was eager to introduce others to my favorite media. Who knows? Perhaps you are one of the people this writer connected with. Robert Harrington’s recent article is the truth. We need to connect with even more voters and win even more support. One way to do that is through social media.
Whether it is Facebook, Insta, TikTok, or Twitter, YOU have the power. You can talk to people, explain why Palmer Report and other media are special and unique, and explain how they have helped, shaped, and given you hope and clarity during dark times.
There are people all over social media who are looking for a healing balm, honest and quality journalism, and media that won’t “both sides” everything.
They want media that won’t write about the catty quarrels, the vapid non-news, the unimportant scraps of untruths that so many have picked up and saved rather than tossing them into the nearest wastepaper basket.
Social media has many issues, but one GOOD thing it offers is its unending ability to connect with your people — to FIND your people. And as you find more and more, that knot inside you will lesson. Trust me, I know. I’ve been there. It always eventually lessons.
So why not help it along and put your political passions to good use? The more people who know us, the more people will start their slide away from the betrayers — those betrayers being the ones who put Donald Trump in office — twice.
