Donald Trump’s Tulsa debacle just got a whole lot uglier

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We should have seen it coming when six members of Donald Trump’s advance team tested positive for coronavirus just before the start of the rally. We definitely should have seen it coming when Trump surrogate Herman Cain tested positive after attending the rally. In fact we did see it coming, and so did you, and now health officials have confirmed it: Trump’s rally made the coronavirus crisis in Tulsa a whole lot worse.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tulsa has surged since Donald Trump’s rally in the city. Tulsa City-County Health Department Director Dr. Bruce Dart now says that Trump’s rally “more than likely” contributed to the increase in cases. The Trump campaign is insisting that his rally can’t have been the cause of the spike, because everyone who attended was given a mask. But this is absolute crap, considering no one was required to wear a mask, and Trump has made several public comments denigrating mask-wearing.

It’s still too early to tell if Donald Trump’s rally has resulted in additional deaths, but that’ll likely come as well. And of course, with Trump’s idiot supporters having come from neighboring cities and states to attend the rally, plenty of them took the virus home with them.
