Donald Trump’s stooge Tucker Carlson goes completely off the rails
On Friday, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Admiral Brett Giroir, as well as CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield, testified to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus. Fauci has repeatedly been a truthful player, informing the country on the latest, and more and more, has warned of what happens if we don’t wear masks and don’t engage in safety precautions and social distancing.
On Thursday, the University of Washington modeling group, which the White House has used, came out with a new model showing if we had a national mask mandate, 32,000 fewer people would die by November 1st from COVID-19. But the right does not like this idea, asserting that it takes away civil liberties. Funny, not one of them complains about the requirement to wear clothing to cover our nether regions as taking away civil liberties.
But the denials and attacks on medical information and science continue. The latest is from Tucker Carlson, recently back from his sudden vacation, stating that Fauci is a “fraud.” Carlson stated:
There is nothing Dr. Anthony Fauci won’t opine on as long as it doesn’t offend the popular and fashionable left. Fauci is 79, but maybe if he had like 22-year-old kids who were trying to make their way in this world in an economy that is headed down the tubes, thanks largely to his recommendations, he would feel differently. It’s not merely an inconvenience when your economy collapses. It’s the end of the American dream. That’s not a small thing. Maybe it’s worth it. Maybe it’s not, but if it is, then you probably shouldn’t take a pass on the question ‘Are protests, are riots OK?’ unless you’re a total fraud, like a complete fraud.
The only real fraud here is Carlson, with his dangerous platform. Keep in mind he touted hydroxychloroquine and other witchcraft. Sadly, millions will watch and agree with Tucker.
