Tucker Carlson debacle is tearing Fox News apart

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Most people have a breaking point — a limit they reach where they say “enough.” It is just that in today’s world, we have not discovered that breaking point for most of the GOP. It does appear, for most of them, that the limit can never be reached.

Doing the right thing — especially when virtually everyone around you is doing the WRONG thing — does not happen nearly as much as it should. So, when it DOES happen, it is a breath of fresh air. And it has happened alright — it’s happened to Fox non-news. Fox has just lost two of their news contributors. And these two have left because of Tucker Carlson.

Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg, both special contributors for Fox, have resigned. The two wrote a post in the Dispatch in which they explained that Tucker Carlson and his hate film, “Patriot Purge,” was their breaking point.

“The voices of the responsible are being drowned out by the irresponsible,” the men wrote. “If a person with such a platform shares misinformation loud enough and long enough, there are Americans who will believe — and act upon — it.”

Both of these two spoke with NPR, and both these men confirmed it — they had reached their breaking point, and that point was Tucker Carlson.

According to multiple reports, there is chaos within the death-news non-station. Others are deeply upset at Tucker, his disgusting movie and it is possible more resignations may follow. Most people have breaking points. We thank these two for finding their own and getting out from within the hate. We hope to see others follow.
