Trump’s unending narcissism
“People with Narcissistic Disorder (NPD) blame others for their mistakes as a defense mechanism to protect their fragile egos.” Trump is likely a malignant narcissist. You’ve heard that from many of us at Palmer Report. Trump is also being true to his narcissism by blaming President Biden for the mess he created at Arlington National Cemetery.
“This was a setup.” In true paranoid form, Trump has declared the whole Arlington fiasco a setup’ because people wanted to make him (the convicted felon) look bad.
“This was a setup by the people in the administration that, “Oh, Trump is coming to Arlington, and that looks so bad for us.” Right. I can see it now: Kamala Garris, Joe Biden, and let’s throw in a few others for your reading pleasure, Tim Walz, every Democratic senator.
They all huddled, whispering about how to “get” Donald Trump. Paranoia! The fact is, the quote at the beginning of this article is the truth. Trump will forever blame EVERYONE but himself for ANY mess that he makes. Still, this is going a bit far even for him.
I suppose he expected the American people to believe that “they” (the ones out to get him) are psychic and could see into the future and knew — with absolute certainty — that the Trump team would stumble into the cemetery, push aside a worker there and start filming while the convicted felon, grinning dumbly, gave the thumbs up sign.
That’s the thing about narcissists. When you examine — really look closely at what they say, you usually find that what they say makes no frigging sense whatsoever. The fact is Trump’s narcissism is to blame for this. See, Turmp’s narcissism is like an unending spool of thread. It keeps unraveling and unraveling, but it doesn’t stop — ever.
In the meantime, it does seem like absolutely nobody, sans a few of Trump’s braindead cult members, believe him about this. All Trump’s protestations are doing is making him look worse and worse, making him look like the fool that he is.
Narcissism is a personality disorder without a cure. In Trump’s unending and needy black hole of an ego , it’s always winter. never any other season. His narcissistic cries are a winter’s lament and they can never be soothed, quieted, or calmed. His narcissism is destined to go on forever.
