Trump world melts down

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The art of playing the victim is something that the GOP excels in. To hear them talk, the whole world’s against them, from Frosted Flakes to Budweiser. Republicans never met something or someone they didn’t like to cancel. They wear outrage as a badge of honor.

In the wake of the E. Jean Carroll verdict, Trump and the few in his tiny world of scraggly misfits have melted down faster than butter in a frying pan. Howls of discontent and outrage can be heard if one listens for them.

Nobody’s been whining and playing the victim more than Trump’s incompetent lawyer — Alina Habba. Habba is now claiming that the whole lawsuit is a distraction to distract from the fact that Trump is doing so well in his political campaign. The fact that E. Jean Carroll sued Trump way before 2024 has apparently and conveniently vanished from her mind.

But she’s not the only one. “So obviously outrageous!” That is, of course, from failed Disney experiment Marjorie Taylor Greene. And boy, oh boy, does she sound angry!

“THIS IS NOT AMERICA!” This is from former Trump doctor and current insane Rep. Ronnie Jackson of Texas ( of course, Texas), who is quite upset on behalf of his insurrectionist pal and is speaking out about it.

Then there is Donald Trump himself. Trump’s life has now come down to fighting — women. Oh the sweet delight of it all! It’s like the sound of wind-chimes, like the wind heard our cries for Justice and everything we wanted to see in the Carroll case is in fact happening.

Nikki Haley is needling him about the verdict. Everybody is laughing at him on social media. I do wonder how long he can go before he defames Carroll AGAIN. You do know he will, don’t you?

You understand that Donald Trump cannot keep his trap shut about anything, don’t you? Unless, of course, his senility strikes, forcing him to lash out and say something embarrassing. That, too, might happen.

Also, the media is full of the E. Jean Carroll story, which has wiped out almost everything other story. Turn on the news at any given time, and one will see gleeful pundits speculating on Trump’s reaction to the verdict and how much he must pay. It IS good to know the cable media is doing its job.

So yes, for now, the Trump team is playing the victim. They are actors, pretending, as if in a play, performing but they fully understand that not only did Donald trump assault Carroll all those years ago, but he defamed her too — over and over, he defamed her, and now he literally must pay the price.
