Trump stooge Peter Navarro may have just emerged as the key to taking Donald Trump down
The January 6th Committee just now subpoenaed Peter Navarro. If you’re trying to place the name, Navarro is the unhinged Donald Trump adviser who keeps going on the air and arrogantly bragging about all the criminal things that he and the rest of Trump world did to try to overthrow the election. Navarro seems intent on getting credit for being the ‘evil genius’ behind the entire plot – which is why he could now be the key to taking Trump down.
Given what all Navarro has already publicly given away about his role in the January 6th plot – including the “Green Bay Sweep” attempt at convincing congressional Republicans to decertify the election results – it’s difficult to imagine he isn’t already under DOJ criminal investigation. If Navarro were smart, he’d just shut up at this point. But Navarro has shown himself to very much the opposite of smart. So there’s a good chance he’ll see the January 6th Committee subpoena as yet another opportunity to take credit for the Trump election fraud plot, and he really will go in and run his mouth to the committee.
If Peter Narravo goes in and runs his mouth to the committee, all bets are off. It’ll give the committee a clear picture of what all was really going on behind the scenes with the Trump election fraud plot – and the committee can use Navarro’s words as a basis for criminal referrals against other Trump people. If Navarro testifies, he’ll be a crucial cooperating witness, whether he realizes he’s cooperating or not.
