Trump regime just admitted it
Donald Trump spent the 2024 election cycle promising that if he won, he would fix inflation and bring down grocery prices on day one. If you’ve ever paid real attention to Trump (or if you’ve ever taken an Economics 101 class), you knew he was lying. But a lot of people fell for it nonetheless. Now they’re about to find out the hard way.
A Trump regime official just admitted from the White House podium that inflation is “not going to go away” any time soon. He might as well have added “duh” to the end of his sentence. For one thing, fixing inflation doesn’t involve bringing prices down. It involves stabilizing prices long enough for wages to catch up. Trying to force prices downward would trigger deflation, which collapses economies. Also, Trump’s idiotic tariffs and trade wars have only served to make inflation worse, after President Biden had largely brought inflation under control.
So now we’ll see if the media does its job. Donald Trump made a campaign promise to bring down consumer prices on day one, and now his own regime is admitting that this was a lie. Will the media run headlines calling out the Trump regime for admitting that Trump was lying? Don’t hold your breath.
