When Trump threatens to do things he knows he can’t pull off, and you panic over it, that hands him leverage that he wouldn’t have otherwise had. Now more than ever, the key to finishing Trump off is to stop looking for things to panic over. He’s done. Stop giving him new life.
Also, it’s more important than ever to tune out all pundits who are trying to bring attention to themselves during this slow news week by inventing things for you to panic over.
This nonsense does real harm. It’s time to break the cycle of doomsday hype masquerading as punditry. From the way some pundits are now spinning it, you’d think Trump won the election and now holds all the cards. A lot of this “punditry” is starting to read like fiction.
