Trump is completely unhinged
Both President Biden and Donald Trump went on the campaign trail this weekend. CNN reported that during a private fundraiser in Seattle, President Biden said: “It’s clear that … when he lost in 2020, something snapped in him. He’s not only obsessed with losing in 2020, he’s clearly unhinged. Just listen to what he’s telling people.” The president’s assessment of Trump is accurate. Trump not only acts unhinged, but he’s too busy insulting people and being an ass to notice that Nikki Haley is still generating votes even though she’s no longer in the race. He might want to pay attention to that rather than staying stuck on stupid.
Bloomberg reported that Trump recently said that if he wins, the first thing he plans to do is sign an executive order to stop offshore wind projects. Trump seems to have a thing with wind. Remember when he said windmills cause cancer? Trump claimed that wind projects are lethal for birds and whales. Now, Trump doesn’t care about anyone or anything. Why the sudden obsession with birds and whales-especially whales? This certainly fits into the term “unhinged.” Contrary to Trump’s claims, offshore wind is expected to generate almost $25 billion in annual output, which will help the economy by boosting domestic manufacturing and power for homes. We must remember, however, that Trump hates clean energy, likely because he doesn’t understand it, and he disputes global warming.
Bloomberg also said that Trump is wrong in his assessment of whale deaths. They report that there has been a rise in the death of humpback whales since 2016, but scientists attribute those deaths to boat strikes and entanglements. They said there is no evidence whatsoever that offshore wind development has contributed to whale deaths. This is a new source of energy that we make here in the country, and that’s a good thing. Trump should embrace it instead of trying to negate it, but Trump isn’t very bright. Besides, he’s too busy acting like an ass.
The Independent reported that at his New Jersey rally, Trump called Biden “a total Moron” and called Alvin Bragg “fat Alvin.” Trump must not have a mirror because he’s damned fat himself. Trump is just mad because he’s on trial in New York. Instead of worrying about nicknames for Bragg, he needs to realize how much he’s hurting himself in that trial by audibly cursing, which Judge Merchan called him on. Trump then lapsed into his insane assertions, calling Hannibal Lecter “a wonderful man” and claiming that his rallies have drawn bigger crowds than Bruce Springsteen’s concerts. He also continued to claim that President Biden was behind all the prosecutions against him and calling Judge Merchan “highly conflicted.” Merchan has been on the bench since 2006. It is highly unlikely that he gives one hoot about Trump any more than any other criminal before him.
Donald Trump has a high opinion of himself that no one else shares with him. When he is defeated again in 2024, we can continue to repair our democracy.
