Trump fails to poke holes in David Pecker
David Pecker has spent days delivering bombshell testimony about how he and Donald Trump conspired to criminally rig the 2016 election by strategically publishing false news stories while suppressing real news stories. Now it’s Trump’s turn to try to discredit Pecker on cross examination.
Trump’s legal team keeps trying to catch Pecker in some kind of self contradiction. But so far it’s really not going anywhere.
Pecker is still on the stand. But if this is all that Trump’s legal team has up its sleeve, then it’s going to do nothing to discredit Pecker. There’s probably more than enough here to convict Trump already – and yet we’re only one witness in.
