Trump doesn’t know what he’s gotten himself into
My mother was not just my mom. She was my best friend. She was there to soothe my fears when I was a child. She nurtured me, guided me, and took on the whole school system when I had some issues, and nobody cared enough to look into said issues. My mom made sure that they did. That was when it was revealed I was a child gifted in the art of reading but — but — with little depth perception.
As I grew up, I made friends. Many I am still friends with today. These friends were children, my people, who now are still my people, only they are women like myself. For my first corporate job, I was mentored. I was mentored by a bright, vibrant, lovely woman who took me under her wing and taught me so much.
The theme in all of this is women. Women — vibrant and lovely women, the ones whom Donald Trump fears so very much, the ones Donald Trump LOATHES so very much Many in the GOP loathe us.
But we are here. We stand proud. We are survivors, reminders of the past and the women’s suffrage movement where we gained the right to vote. We’ve come so very far. And those like Donald Trump and the GOP would seek to bring us back to a different time.
I’ve pondered this, my friends. I’ve contemplated. WHY do they hate us so much? What did we ever do to them? I’ve pondered that, and I’ve concluded there is no answer. Hate can sometimes be blind. But most hate is born out of fear. Do they fear us? I believe the answer is yes.
They do not understand us, do not know how to relate to us, and stand frozen in time, archaic cavemen, who have no words to say to us. I wish things were different. But here we are. And I predict — it will be the year of the woman.
Don’t you feel it., my friends? The excitement in the air? It isn’t just women. Yet this article is about women women and their heroism. The doors will open in November, and MILLIONS will leave their homes.
They will flock, one shining, group of flamingos, moving in lockstep to the polls to do one thing: Vote them OUT. Yes, women from over the hills and far away, all types of women, majestic, beautiful WOMEN. Donald Trump has unleashed washed a lion. He has NO IDEA of what he has done.
This November, he will come face to face with his biggest fear — women. He will be defeated in the end. He will be furious to know his court cases will continue and that he will likely GO TO JAIL.
Because in part of women — including women of color. That is his second greatest fear — people of color. Because Donald, besides being a misogynist, is also a racist pig. And this November, he will lose to a WOMAN — A black woman! Talk about irony! I can’t wait to see it happen.
