Trump campaign official enters into proffer agreement with Jack Smith

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This morning I wrote that Jack Smith had seemingly given everyone involved in the 2020 election plot a deadline of June 30th to decide whether they want to cut cooperation deals or get indicted. I further pointed out that June 30th is tomorrow, and that we could see more people cooperating during these final 24 hours. Sure enough, that just happened.

Former Trump 2020 campaign official Mike Roman has entered into a proffer agreement and is now cooperating with Jack Smith’s investigation into the “fake elector” plot, according to CNN. While a proffer interview isn’t the same as a formal cooperation deal, it typically opens the door for such a deal.

This was seemingly inevitable after Roman’s former deputy in the Trump 2020 campaign was given immunity a week or two ago. Once people start flipping, others end up having little choice but to flip as well. This comes on the heels of yesterday’s reporting that Rudy Giuliani also entered into a proffer agreement with Jack Smith. We may see even more news about deals being cut as the evening goes on. After all, Jack Smith has seemingly set tomorrow as his deadline for any such deals.
