Trump attorney Alina Habba just went there

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Alina Habba is one of Donald Trump’s attorneys. She has been in the news lately and not in any good way. Habba, who the other day cooed over how great-looking she is, also said that she would rather be pretty than smart. To that, I say beware of Trump sycophants who wax poetic about how wonderful they are. It looks like she’s a student of the Insurrection whisperer, the Orange insurrection whisper, Donald Trump.

But believe it or not, these statements, musing about her own beauty, are not the focus of this article. This is because Habba did something much worse, and I am far from the only one saying it. Habba appeared to “lean on” one of the Supreme Court Justices with a plea to him to find for Donald John Trump.

This is all unfolded on Fox News. Habba explained why she felt such confidence in the court. One of those reasons was that Trump had defended certain Justices, and now it was their turn to step up for Trump. “I think it should be a slam dunk in the Supreme Court,” she said.

“You know people like Kavanaugh, who the President fought for, who the President went through hell to get into place … He’ll step up.”

“Not because they’re pro-trump nut because they’re pro-law.” Boy oh boy. This is not good. MSNBC Legal analyst Katie Phang had this to say: “Alina Habba saying the quid pro quo part out loud here.”

This was a foolish thing to say, but as I said, it does appear the Treason whisperer himself is schooling Habba, so one should not be surprised. This will not help Trump’s cause. Brett Kavanaugh, if he rules in Trump’s favor, won’t do it because of what Habba said.

It is more likely now that Kavanaugh will try to be MORE impartial. Why? No matter how much we dislike him, Brett Kavanaugh is no Clarence Thomas. That is to say, unlike Thomas, who seems to YEARN for liberal tears, who has reportedly said in the past he likes to aggravate Democrats, Kavanaugh appears the opposite.

I have read some of his opinions. Sometimes, he appears almost apologetic. Please make no mistake: Brett Kavanaugh wants to be taken seriously, and the last thing he needs is some bright-eyed Trump lawyer leaning on him openly to decide in her client’s favor.
