Trump administration completely unravels as Trump’s people head for the exits
Donald Trump is still trying to convince us, or perhaps merely convince himself, that he can somehow magically win the 2020 election. To be clear, that has literally zero chance of happening; Joe Biden is the President-elect. If you don’t want to take our word for it, just ask the Trump White House personnel who are already out looking for new jobs.
White House personnel boss John McEntee is now telling White House employees that if he catches anyone looking for a new job, he’ll fire them in retaliation, according to CNN’s Jake Tapper. To be clear, this kind of threat is only going to make Trump’s people be more likely to head for the exits.
It’s the latest sign that, regardless of how loud the protestations in public may be, the Trump regime really is over. If you want more evidence that Trump is giving up the fight, consider this tweet from Marc Elias, who has been spearheading the battle against Trump’s election-related lawsuits: “If people thought we would be seeing a barrage of new lawsuits from Trump today, they were wrong or mislead. A few stragglers, but nothing significant.”
