Trial jury hits Donald Trump with massive $83.3 million in damages in E Jean Carroll trial

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As we all watched the second civil trial between Donald Trump and E. Jean Carroll play out, we all saw it going very, very poorly for Trump. His attorney was clueless. Trump didn’t really make a case, and ended up storming out of the trial. Sure enough, the jury is already back with a verdict, and it’s stunningly ugly for Trump.

The jury hit Donald Trump with a total of $83.3 million in monetary damages. This means that Trump now owes Carroll this amount of money, in addition to the $5 million that was awarded in the previous trial. Trump can appeal, but this doesn’t prevent him from having to ultimately pay the money.

There is now the question about whether Trump can even come up with this kind of money. If not, the courts can take his assets. Of course Trump is already on track to lose his assets in his separate New York civil fraud trial. One way or the other, Trump is finished financially. Now we’re on to his criminal trials.
