Travis Tritt goes completely off the deep end with whacked out Trump voting machine conspiracy theory

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Country singer Travis Tritt is infamous in political circles for not only being a right wing loon, but also preemptively blocking everyone on Twitter who doesn’t lean his way politically (including Palmer Report). Tritt has also set up shop on Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform, where he has a verified account with an almost hilariously unrealistically large number of supposed followers.

So what does Travis Tritt’s Truth Social account look like? A few days ago he posted that he has “confidential sources in Georgia” who have told him that Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp “cut a deal with the state of Georgia to select Dominion Voting Systems to provide its new statewide voting system beginning in 2020. My sources tell me that Kemp has never been in debt since that deal was done. Connect the dots.” Uh, no. Where do we even start with this crap?

This is so bizarrely unhinged, it’s beyond ludicrous. There is no evidence that Kemp has ever been massively in debt. Nor is it sane to believe that Kemp cut a secret deal with a voting machine company. This is rubber room lunatic stuff. Even if this kind of evidence did exist (which it doesn’t), anyone in possession of this evidence would be going public with it – not giving an exclusive about it to Travis Tritt.

For that matter, was Tritt asleep when the whole Dominion vs Fox News thing happened? Is he really stupid enough to make this kind of stuff up about Dominion, after everything that’s happened? This is nuts.

Up to now we’ve always presumed that Travis Tritt was only playing up his right wing extremist views because it plays well with his largely right wing country music audience. But this is full blown conspiracy theory lunatic stuff. There’s something wrong with this guy. But then there’s something wrong with all right wingers in general.
