Everyone piles on after Donald Trump posts nonsensical tweet about tractors

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Donald Trump has been comparatively quiet on Twitter today. Perhaps he’s trying to get in one last round of golf while he still can, considering winter is coming soon, and he could be behind bars before the winter is over. In any case, Trump did pop in to tweet what he must have thought was an uplifting message for farmers. The trouble: it made no sense, even by his standards.

Trump is claiming that he’s struck a new trade deal with China. Of course there is no trade deal, and in fact China is publicly calling him out over his BS. Trump nonetheless decided that his imaginary trade deal is a great thing for America’s farmers – yes, the same farmers he’s been bleeding dry with his idiotic trade war and tariffs.

Trump tweeted “Happy National Farmers Day!” Okay, fair enough. But an hour later he circled back and added “Start thinking about getting bigger tractors!” Wait a minute, what? Various respondents piled on, pointing out that Trump obviously has no familiarity with how farming works. Even if there is increased demand for your crops, it doesn’t mean you need a bigger tractor.

Some folks asked if Donald Trump misspelled “traitors” and if he was in fact telling his remaining henchmen to “Start thinking about getting bigger traitors!” Others wondered if perhaps Trump was talking about getting a bigger tractor because he needs something bigger than a bus to throw his own people under.
