Donald Trump has totally bonkers late night meltdown
Donald Trump spent Wednesday slamming his fist down on the table and yelling “bye-bye” at Nancy Pelosi, before he stormed out of the room and then tweeted the words “bye-bye” just for effect. Most Americans were hoping this was some kind of resignation letter, but alas, he’s still illegally occupying the White House for now. However, the day went so horribly for him, he ended up having a late night meltdown that was – in his words – “totally bonkers.”
Trump didn’t like the fact that the mainstream media dared to do its job on Wednesday by reporting on just how poorly this shutdown debacle is going for him, so he erupted with this late night gem: “The Mainstream Media has NEVER been more dishonest than it is now. NBC and MSNBC are going Crazy. They report stories, purposely, the exact opposite of the facts. They are truly the Opposition Party working with the Dems. May even be worse than Fake News CNN, if that is possible!” Then it got weirder.
Even as Donald Trump is publicly claiming that the Republicans in Congress are united behind him on his government shutdown suicide mission, he admitted the opposite behind closed doors. It’s not clear that Trump understands how the concept of “off the record” works, because he posted this after members of his own party appeared to leak his desperate words: “Gave an OFF THE RECORD luncheon, somewhat of a White House tradition or custom, to network anchors yesterday – and they quickly leaked the contents of the meeting. Who would believe how bad it has gotten with the mainstream media, which has gone totally bonkers!”
So there you have it. Donald Trump is accusing others of having gone “totally bonkers” which based on his consistent habit of projection, means that he knows he’s gone totally bonkers. He then declared that his approval rating is at its highest level ever, when back in the real world, it’s near its lowest point ever.
