Donald Trump just took a dump on everything and skipped town
In the past twenty-four hours Donald Trump has vetoed the military budget, screwed up the stimulus deal, pardoned a bunch of criminals in ways that may not even protect them, and departed for Mar-a-Lago with everyone from Congress to his own allies scratching their heads over what to do next.
At this point Trump’s increasingly erratic ineptitude may be the bigger concern than any movie-style brinksmanship, which likely isn’t coming. Trump basically just took a dump on everything and left town. No one even knows if he’s ever coming back. Trump was always going to go out in a blaze of bumbling impotence. It’s how he’s lived his entire life.
