Joe Biden has something big planned for tonight

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

President-elect Joe Biden has spent the past three weeks speaking in public far more often than Donald Trump has. But Biden has picked his spots, well aware that his appearances were as much about pressuring Trump and the GSA to cave on transition as anything else. Now that the transition process has formally begun, Biden is going big.

Joe Biden will be interviewed on NBC News tonight by Lester Holt at 6:30pm eastern time. Biden has already been announcing cabinet picks and emphasizing specific initiatives during various one-off appearances. We suspect he’ll use his national spotlight tonight to focus on his presidential agenda and leadership message at large.

– Congrats to Paul Ryan for having the courage to finally speak up about the election the day after the transition began. That’s a real profile in courage right there. Eye roll. Could this guy be any more of a coward?
