Trump stooge Tommy Tuberville goes completely off the rails

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol building, a number of House and Senate Republicans have backed down from their conspiracies about how Trump somehow secretly won the election. But newly elected Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville is merely finding a new way to double down on the Trump fantasy.

Tuberville just did a local interview in Alabama yesterday in which he called for President Biden’s inauguration and swearing-in to be postponed until after the pandemic is over. Of course that would conveniently leave Trump in office for at least a few months. Of course this wouldn’t even be possible, as the inauguration date is stated right there in the Constitution and can’t be changed.

Tommy Tuberville’s ongoing fantasy about keeping Trump in office raises further questions about why both Trump and Rudy Giuliani were reportedly trying to call Tuberville on the phone during the U.S. Capitol attack so they could ask him to delay certification. Tuberville’s actions in relation to January 6th must be investigated to the hilt.
