How does one begin to catch a thief? To catch a thief requires effort. It requires skilled law enforcement who can get into the mind of whichever thief they might be pursuing at that time. You see, many thieves are cunning. Some thieves are extremely street-smart, knowing how to get in and out of their location quickly.

There are many stories about clever thieves and how they got away with heists and robberies. But thieves are, after all, only human. And most of these thieves get caught at some point or another. Even the smartest, most skilled thieves can leave clues. They can leave clues, which police follow like breadcrumbs, hoping these clues will lead them to their quarry.

Often, no matter how clever the thief is, usually — not always, but usually they get caught. If they’re NOT clever, they get caught that much sooner. Donald Trump is a thief. Donald Trump is not clever.

Now, BECAUSE Donald Trump is not smart, he is a wee bit easier to catch than one with intelligence. Trump is a stupid thief, and stupid thieves do not go for long without getting caught.

“The most obvious way of catching a burglar is by providing the police with video footage of the break-in.” Donald Trump has done that. The video of January 6, when he tried to steal democracy, will exist for eternity. But another type of video has surfaced, stunning many.

In this video, one sees Jenna Ellis talking about how Donald Trump said he “is not going to leave (The Presidency) any under any circumstances.” Such stupidity! Such a gift for the Prosecution! What Trump tried to steal was democracy. And like the bad and extremely stupid thief he is, he talked about his plans. He had no intention of ever leaving the office of President.

But loose lips sink ships, and the ship of insurrectionists went down fast. And it was indeed eerie to see Ellis talking about all this. Trump made the typical thieves’ mistake. He assumed invincibility. NO thief is invincible.

But catching the thief, Donald Trump, undoubtedly was made easier by the thief’s blatant stupidity. His attempted heist was the United States of America.

He assumed he was more intelligent than everyone. He thought he could bring America down, steal her purity and her lawfulness. Because Trump hates obeying laws, he never even questioned whether his actions were wrong.

“This is devastating!” Those words are from National Security Attorney Brad Moss. He was speaking of the video from Jenna Ellis talking about Trump’s evil, his grand scheme to steal democracy by never leaving office.

But Trump did not reckon with the fact that America does not tolerate fascists and dictators. She does not want to be stolen. He didn’t reckon on Judge Chutkan or Jack Smith or US. His plan would have never worked, and his stupidity and grandiosity left a trail of breadcrumbs for prosecutors. And that is how they caught the thief, who hopefully will be behind bars for a long, long time.
