Time to take the win

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We need to get better at taking the win and running with it. It’s now clear the DOJ will very likely indict Donald Trump. So let’s stop the defeatist howling about how we’re all “doomed” if doesn’t happen, and start urging Americans to get behind the DOJ’s upcoming prosecution of Trump. We, as activists, have a job to do when it comes to helping shape public opinion – and that job is not to sit around idly fretting.

– Thank you Adam Schiff for going on MSNBC on Thursday and spelling out that the DOJ “does not change hands” based on the midterm results – something that too many MSNBC hosts have been playing fast and loose with for far too long.

– Tweet of the day, from legal expert Norm Eisen: “Wow. Congressmen helping Trump on & before 1/6 & then demanding pardons. Makes me think of 18 USC 201: A public official who corruptly seeks anything of value in return for an official act or colluding in fraud shall be imprisoned for up to 15 years & disqualified from office”
