Tim Walz just exploded on to the TikTok scene
TikTok has long been the stuff of Kamala Harris memes, and a few weeks ago she decided to capitalize on it by launching her own TikTok account. It was met with great enthusiasm. Now her running mate Tim Walz is doing the same.
Remarkably, Tim Walz’ TikTok account has gained 100,000 followers in its first two hours of existence. This means that the younger generation is not only getting on board with Kamala, but also with her running mate. When you’re going as far as making a point of following a running mate on social media, it’s a good sign that you’re likely going to turn out and vote.
Meanwhile, in contrast, Donald Trump now appears to have quit Twitter just a few days after returning to the platform. He hasn’t tweeted anything since Tuesday. Trump is faltering on social media, even as Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are dominating online.
