Donald Trump throws Jared Kushner under the bus as everything falls to pieces
As Donald Trump’s numbers continue to collapse and his presidency falls apart, he’s leaning more heavily toward racism than ever. He’s now openly attacking Black Lives Matter, while threatening to make it harder for nonwhite people to buy houses.
Now Donald Trump is throwing Jared Kushner under the bus for having dared to steer him toward prison reform. Axios is reporting that Trump is running around the White House yelling around about how he wants “no more of Jared’s woke s***” – which is remarkable when you consider just how thoroughly non-woke Jared Kushner is to begin with.
No one has ever really understood why Kushner cared so much about prison reform, beyond the fact that his own father went to prison, and the reality that he could be headed to prison himself once Donald Trump is no longer in office to protect him. But now Trump has decided that Kushner is to blame for having dared to deter him from his hardline stances on the issues.
This is of course an idiotic move on Donald Trump’s part. While Kushner has been steering him wrong from the start on nearly everything, prison reform was the one good idea that Kushner had – even if it was for the wrong reasons. But Trump has apparently decided that if he’s going to lose this election, he’s going to lose it his way, and that means being as racist as possible. Also, we’re left to wonder if Trump is the one who leaked this story.
