This won’t end well for Trump
As Bill Palmer told you, Donald John Trump, at a Sunday rally, said he wouldn’t mind if a shooter shot through “the fake news.” This, coming on the heels of Trump’s violent rhetoric about Liz Cheney, suggests one thing and one thing only: Donald Trump has lost it. He has stopped caring about anything he says or does, and it’s showing.
Donald Trump knows he’s losing. His numbers look terrible. He must feel despair because we all know precisely what will happen to Donald Trump if and when he loses. Imagine! Imagine being a loathsome criminal, a smug sociopath who is accustomed to getting away with things, and then realizing that your luck’s run out and that you are standing on the edge of complete vanquishment.
Trump’s losing. His campaign knows it. Republicans know it. Trump knows it. And it’s all because of his corruption. The fall of Donald Trump — and the GOP as a whole is not unlike the fall of Rome. Rome fell due to several factors, but corruption was most definitely one aspect -a significant aspect of its fall.
As with any fall from grace., there is resistance. The issue for Donald Trump is that he is a complete lunatic, so his: version” of resistance” is, of course, as insane, as mired in madness as the man himself.
While some who see imminent signs of loss will try to rise up, using nuanced approaches, there is nothing subtle about Donald Trump. His tongue is his weapon and said weapon is no match for the sane and brilliant people on the other side.
I will make a prediction. Donald Trump’s fate will not end well. I am not even referring to his many indictments. I speak of his fate stemming from the consequences of his upcoming defeat.
My prediction is that Trump’s rhetoric will become more dastardly, that when he loses, he will say things that will be, even for him, vile, and that, who knows? He just might be indicted again. One cannot keep making threats without facing the consequences.
Consequences are something Donald Trump has likely never thought about. Spoiled as the selfish narcissist ever was, arrogant to the point of buffoonery, Donald Trump cannot think and process information in the way that normal people do, and that was even BEFORE his cognitive decline which surely isn’t helping.
If Trump continues to go this way, not only will he face more charges, but he will also be violating the terms of his release in the New York case. And soon, he will be appearing before his honor. Yes, the story of Donald Trump in power is long gone, but the story of Donald Trump’s consequences are only just really beginning.
