This turns the Senate 2024 majority narrative on its head

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Internal Republican polling has been leaked, and it’s bad news for Republicans. It’s all about the Senate. As you know, WE need to keep the Senate. The GOP wants to take it back, but according to this leaked memo, their chances of doing that are starting to splinter.

This memo from the Senate Leadership Fund shows that many GOP Senate candidates have low favorability ratings, which isn’t quite what Republicans were hoping to hear. The memo shows that with the exception of one candidate, none of them are doing well. They are running behind Donald Trump, who is losing to Kamala Harris.

First let’s talk about Trump. This memo shows him running behind Harris. He is losing to her in multiple swing states. Take that, media! The GOP’s Senate candidates appear to be in quicksand and sinking rather fast. According to this memo, Republicans are running behind in Ohio. They’re behind in Michigan. And let’s not even get started on slimy Ted Cruz, who is only leading now by an astonishing ONE POINT.

Republicans are also failing in Maryland. They’d hoped running a moderate Republican in the form of Larry Hogan would help them take Maryland, but it doesn’t seem that is happening. The GOP may be poised for a shellacking.

Then there’s Nebraska. You read that right: “a serious-trouble spot.” Those words come directly from the memo itself. Dan Osborn is running as an independent, and two recent polls show him ahead of the GOP incumbent.

This memo suggests that unless Trump wins and if any of these states turn, they may not win back the Senate. Well, we knew that, didn’t we? Republicans appear particularly concerned about Ted Cruz, who, to quote The Daily Beast, could “screw up his party’s chances of flipping the Senate.” Well, everyone already hates Cruz. This would only give them MORE reasons to dislike the Texas abandoner.

It’s astonishing that ALL this is in one memo. The GOP is scared, no doubt. Looking at that memo, they’ve got to know there stands a HUGE chance that they lose the House, the Presidency, AND the Senate, thus winding up with a trifecta of absolute bupkis. Let’s make it happen! Donate here to win the Senate majority.
