This Supreme Court has screwed itself even worse than you might think

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The Supreme Court includes three great Justices plus six partisan hacks, including a man who quotes Witch Judges, a zoned-out handmaiden, and a man who has shown more emotion toward beer than in yanking away a woman’s right to choose.

So it shouldn’t be all that surprising that the sparking personalities of these Justices (sarcasm) are being noticed in a big way. And I will offer my most earnest congratulations to the not so supreme court. This is for achieving an incredible milestone — having the lowest poll numbers a Supreme Court has ever had! Congratulations, Court.

In a new Gallup poll. a stunning — brace yourselves — 25% of people have a great deal of confidence in the court. Just 25 percent! Those are really bad numbers. Not just kind of bad, or a little bad — this is a full wipe out bad.

And the poll was conducted between June 1 – June 20. And, of coarse, you know what that means. This was before Roe was overturned! So there is a strong possibility ( or probability) that the numbers are even worse for them now.

What is really striking about the poll isn’t that less than 15% percent of Democrats trust the court. That is to be expected. The shocking part is just 39% of REPUBLICANS trust them a great deal. What in the heck is up with that? It does appear that this just might be the most unpopular Supreme Court that we have ever had. What a prize for them! Such a legacy.

The court will be remembered as a bunch of slick, dishonest, untrustworthy betrayers — by Democrats and Republicans. Congratulations, Gorsuch and Barrett and Thomas and Roberts and Kavanaugh and, of course, Alito. It is no less than you deserve.
