This should be it for Lauren Boebert
Lauren Boebert needs to be expelled from Congress. Of all the GOP creeps, idiots, and dunderheads that lurk the halls of Congress, Boebert is definitely at the top of the list in terms of both stupidity and cruelty. But with her recent comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar, she most definitely stepped over the line.
For those of you who may not have heard these comments — I would not sully the Palmer Report by writing them here. They do not deserve to be written BY ANYBODY anywhere. Suffice to say, it was hate speech, pure and simple. The woman is a racist idiot and does not deserve to be in the same room as Omar, let alone in Congress.
So, Boebert fabricated a story about Omar and basically all but called her a terrorist. Boebert basically said Omar had been mistaken by a Capitol Police Officer for a terrorist. The story was made up. Now, Boebert did issue an apology, and in said apology, she claimed she’d reached out to Omar’s office. I do not believe that matters.
How many times has Boebert done this now? Too many to count. There is no reason not to believe she will not do it again. If someone pokes a big bear and it chases them, one usually does not go back and poke it again. One learns that the bear is dangerous, and one sees, from the bear’s behavior, that the bear would prefer one to stay far away from it. Lesson learned.
Yet with Boebert, the GOP led by ignoramus Kevin McCarthy chooses to turn a blind eye on toxic and morally bankrupt behavior that has been demonstrated time and time again.
Boebert has not changed, she will not change, and she needs disciplining. I’ve no doubt the Democrats know this, but the insurrection party once again has proven their callous disregard for human decency by saying and doing nothing. The party of nothing has not spoken, people. And this is yet another reason we must win in 2022.
