This one is on us

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Inflation is being treated as a problem of the current Biden administration by much of the mainstream press as well as right-wing media. While it is certainly a problem that the administration must inevitably address, much of the overall message is questioning how much of this will be a problem for Democrats, rather than asking either party what solutions they would enact for inflation.

The real trouble is that there are Republican politicians who are actively worsening both the situation on the border and with inflation and the media has yet to call them out on it – something that Jen Psaki wasted no time on doing on Wednesday during her press conference.

To score political points, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been making use of the Texas Dept of Public Safety to go to the border rather than allow U.S. Customs and Border Protection to do their job – something that will cost the residents of his state significantly in taxes, which Republicans have already promised to increase – and in terms of cost as Texas DPS inspections on the southern border are only increasing the delay in the supply chain – in many cases, doing more damage than delays at shipping ports which received considerable media attention last year.

It is clear that corporate media is more willing to placate Republicans and their ridiculous claims about fairness – so it is up to us as voters and Democratic candidates themselves to amplify this message and ask why Republicans are so willing to punish American citizens just to score political points.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
