This news is “devastating” for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When you flip underling co-conspirators against a crime boss, it’s not just to make things simpler, or reduce the number of trials needed. It’s that these are often the only people who can give you first hand testimony that what you think is true is in fact true.

Raise your hand if you already knew that Donald Trump was planning to try to remain in office even if he lost the 2020 election. Okay, that’s 100% of you. You can put your hands down. But even though we all “know” this, and Fulton County DA Fani Willis “knows” this as well, that doesn’t count for anything in a criminal trial. Proof is needed, and that typically comes from a crime boss’ underlings.

Sure enough, Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis have given Fani Willis the proof she needs that Trump knew he lost the election and was indeed engaging in fraud and racketeering when he pushed Georgia election officials to declare him the winner. Legal expert Bradley P. Moss says that this testimony is “devastating” for Trump. And he’s right.

And so while Powell and Ellis won’t go to prison (at least not in Fulton County), their cooperating deals ensure that Donald Trump will go to prison. It’s how you take crime bosses down. No one loved that Sammy “The Bull” Gravano had to be given a sweetheart deal in order to take his boss John Gotti down. But that deal ensured that Gotti spent the rest of his life in prison. It’s the same with Donald Trump.
