This just keeps getting worse for Trump stooge Peter Navarro

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Former White House trade advisor Peter Navarro isn’t having a good week. On the contrary, it’s been a no good, very bad week for the Trump sycophant. Navarro has been issued a subpoena from the January 6 committee. So, you’d think he’d have the intelligence not to go on national television and “squeal like a pig.”

Navarro didn’t get THAT memo. Perhaps Navarro fancies himself a sly red fox, able to nimbly get around tough questions and appear confident and well-spoken. Did I mention that Peter Navarro is also an idiot?

So the wanna-be fox ventured into the henhouse. In this case, that means he humiliated himself by going on Ari Melber’s show, on MSNBC. This was not a good move for Navarro, but logic doesn’t seem to be something he is familiar with.

Of course, everything fell apart. Navarro seemed to furiously channel Jim Jordan in the amount of stammering he did. Meanwhile. Melber, his laser eyes firmly on Navarro, didn’t let him off the hook for a moment.

“It would follow, from your contention, that Vice President Harris should ultimately have the call over who should be President, regardless of the results in the next election?” Melber asked sweetly.

Navarro then proceeded to do what Navarro does best — not answer the question. But Melber was relentless. He kept asking, the lasers didn’t move from Navarro, and he continued his relentless probe — quickly making mincemeat of the stammering Navarro.

The moral of this story is, of course, don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched. The other moral to the story is that Peter Navarro is an idiot. I know I said that but this one is clearly worth saying twice.
