This just keeps getting even weirder
Not too long ago, Donald Trump tweeted a photoshopped image of his head on the body of the fictional boxer Rocky. The jarring juxtaposition of Trump’s head and Sylvester Stallone’s physique only served to make Trump look old and terribly out of shape, and earned Trump a whole lot of well-deserved mockery across social media. Now it’s gotten even weirder.
There’s a second official Donald Trump Twitter account known as @TrumpWarRoom whose sole purpose is to echo and promote his propaganda. Some of the tweets to this second account are even more surreal than what Trump is tweeting on his primary account. For instance, this afternoon the account tweeted “House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want. President Trump’s re-election is ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ.” Attached was a video depicting Trump as Avengers villain Thanos.
We’re not even sure where to start with this. First, the video depicts Donald Trump snapping his fingers Thanos-style and making the entire Democratic leadership turn to dust. Although it’s cartoonish in nature, it nonetheless depicts Trump murdering several members of Congress. So the whole thing is wildly inappropriate on its face. But if you know anything about the Avengers movies (spoiler alert), the Avengers end up killing off Thanos and restoring much of the damage he’s done โ meaning that Trump is predicting his own downfall.
So this tweet from Donald Trump’s official secondary account is depicting Trump as a mass murderer who is going to eventually get killed off himself. This is just too bizarre for words. Whoever is running Trump’s second Twitter account is arguably even more deranged than Trump is.
