This just got even uglier for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Republicans last held the House, they largely used the limited power they had to waste everyone’s time with pointless investigations into the storming of a US embassy in Benghazi – not caring about the extensive costs or the fact that every bit of evidence they brought in showed that Secretary Hillary Clinton, the main focus of the probe, couldn’t have done anything to prevent what happened – but worst of all, they didn’t even care about the attack all that much, as they routinely refused to fund embassy security despite the Americans who were killed in the attacks. What the hearings did do, however, was successfully fundraise GOP candidates and tarnish Secretary Clinton’s reputation enough to damage her presidential bid in 2016.

Now that they have the House again, they still can’t figure out a way to effectively galvanize the country to their side. No one cares about their imaginary bribery scandals – especially as SCOTUS actually is being bribed for a lot more money – and their attacks on Hunter Biden may have just backfired on them in a big way.

Among their other idiotic threats of what to unleash on the American people, McCarthy’s Republican House failed to expunge Donald Trump’s two impeachments – a farcical thing that was never real and managed to fail on the House floor even with Republicans having the majority.

What’s even worse for Trump is that this isn’t coming from the Mitt Romney moderate wing of the party either – it’s his diehards that he endorsed for leadership positions speaking out. Let’s get rid of this do-nothing House majority and replace them with Democrats in 2024.
