This just came back to bite Marco Rubio

Imagine if one could know everything spoken about them by friends or enemies, when they’re not around. I imagine many would not be too happy with what they heard, yes? After all, the persona that one shows to the world and to the particular person in question is often far, far different from the true self—the ONLY self that really matters.

But in the case I’m about to tell you about, someone’s true self was discovered, and it just might mean the end of their career as they know it. Marc Rubio hates Donald Trump. We know this. Just look at him whenever the TV camera is whirring. Rubio always looks embarrassed and ashamed and, like he wants to run and hide from whatever loud-mouthed threat his employer is making.

And so it was that a CNN clip of Rubio disparaging the felon has resurfaced and has gone viral. Marco, in the CNN clip and another clip, both from 2016, can be heard jeering at Trump and calling him names. Those names were definitely NOT flattering.

“A tough guy?” Rubio can be heard asking. “A tough guy? This guy inherited $200 million. He’s never faced any struggle.” Uh-oh. Meltdown from Trump in 3,2,1…

It gets worse. “He is a con artist,” Rubio says definitely, shedding his cowardice like some woebegotten skin. “He has spent his entire life sticking it to the little guy!” Uh-oh. Rubio — a job promotion is not looking like it is in the cards for you.

But there’s more — so much more. Rubio also derides Trump’s bravery or lack thereof. “Trump told a protester I’m gonna punch you in the face,” Trump’s beloved employee explains. “Donald Trump has never punched anyone in the face.” “Donald Trump was the first guy that begged for secret service protection.” Ah, the sounds and sounds of the REAL Rubio, a bit of pipsqueak — it is truly bliss. Rubio also condemned Trump for his strongman tactics, proving that Rubio is not having a good week at ALL.
