This isn’t helping Mehmet Oz at all

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

While the GOP is still reeling from President Biden’s speech in Philadelphia on Thursday night (or because of their imaginary version of it), the former guy who usually gives them their marching orders seemed to give something away while speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. As you could probably imagine, Donald Trump had a hard time being called a “semi-fascist,” but he kept going – a bit further than even his staunchest apologists have been going on social media all week.

The former guy was cutting into Mehmet Oz’s opponent, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman – with a comically untrue rant about Fetterman wanting to set murderers free – something not even in the job description of a U.S. Senator: “Let these murderers out. Put Trump in jail – that Trump is no good.” It’s interesting how his mind suddenly went there – even if momentarily. This was meant to be a badly needed boost for Oz since his campaign’s been nothing but a farce and a headache for the GOP.

With Trump giving us a rare moment of clarity, revealing exactly what’s on his mind – this rally for Oz and Mastriano will go down in infamy for all of the wrong reasons. While John Fetterman and Josh Shapiro are ahead in their respective races for U.S. Senator and PA Governor, we need to help them in a race where they’re being vastly outspent. Do what you can to volunteer or donate to their campaigns today and help Democrats win in 2022.
