This is what winning momentum looks like

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The polls are on our side — at last! President Biden’s approval ratings are slowly ticking upward. That might just be because he’s proving (and has proven) what an outstanding President he is.

And people are noticing. In a Politico-Morning Consult poll, Biden’s approvals ticked up three points in one week. Biden is now firmly over the 40% margin. I would not be at all surprised to see him soon hit 50%.

And that spells bad news for Republicans. Why? Because they were counting on running against unpopularity — the unpopularity of both Biden and the Democrats in general. Only, that is not what we see reflected in the polls. The polls tell a different story.

It seems every poll that comes out lately shows good news for the Democrats. The Senate is looking increasingly good for us, and even Moscow Mitch has admitted that. And we must hold the House as well. That is looking more and more likely, and as long as we put in the work, we really can win this thing.

Meanwhile, the GOP overreached, as they are known to do. They put no platform together, confident that they could run against Democrats.

Only Democrats are getting things done. So now the GOP has a problem. And that problem is that they have nothing to run on. Isn’t it sweet? So let’s go win this thing! We’ve got the polls on our side. We’ve got momentum. And the GOP has absolutely zilch.
