This is utterly deranged

When it was announced that Dr. Anthony Fauci would be throwing out the first pitch on Thursday at the Washington Nationals baseball game, we figured Donald Trump would do something juvenile in response. Sure enough, he did – but it ended up being deranged even by his standards, and just plain weird.

Trump started off by inexplicably having retired baseball player Mariano Rivera speak at his coronavirus press conference. After that fell flat, Trump tweeted this video of himself, Rivera, and some kids playing catch on the White House lawn – without masks:

Now he’s got a bunch of kids interacting with each other on the White House lawn, without masks, one day after a coronavirus outbreak in the White House cafeteria. Trump should be criminally charged with child abuse.
