This is like the zombie apocalypse
It’s like something out of a zombie apocalypse. Girls having to flee to other states to get abortions. A woman in the state of Louisiana who may have to carry a headless fetus to term. Doctors are being threatened for performing abortions. All around us looms the apocalypse.
And it’s disgusting. It’s macabre and grotesque, and we MUST stop it. So as we go forward, we need to keep abortion as a front and center issue. What the GOP is doing — and how far their going is sickening. It seems to me like the GOP was on a leash — pretending to embrace normalcy, pretending to like and respect women. Until Roe fell. Then the dogs were off the leash. The GOP could show their true colors at last. And what they showed was terrifying.
Because not only do they not care about women, many of them seem to truly DESPISE women. We know that because they would NOT be doing what they’re doing otherwise. Hate, misogyny, and utter loathing all wrapped in a not-so-pretty little package of zombie-infused craziness.
We must VOTE THEM OUT. I want us to return to a country where women were considered every bit as respected as men. I do not see how that can happen if the GOP retakes power. The GOP is soulless and makes no mistake. If they win, things for women will get worse. It’s not Donald Trump’s fault either, not THIS issue. It’s important to understand that.
This is entirely the GOP WITHOUT Trump. So many said just get rid of Trump, and the GOP will revert back as if there was a magic potion or something. Well — we have gotten rid of Trump, and the GOP is worse. They’re a party of contemptuous zombies, steadfast in their desire to view women as second-class citizens. That’s why they can’t win.
