This is just ugly for Melania Trump
For some reason, Donald Trump supporters thought that now was a good time to get the hashtag #RespectTheFirstLady trending on Twitter. Apparently in their minds, because there’s a pandemic going on, we’re all supposed to pretend we give a hoot about the most embarrassing excuse for a “First Lady” in American history.
Trump’s base quickly lost control of the hashtag once normal Americans got ahold of it, and let’s just say that for Melania Trump, the results weren’t pretty:
