This is just UGLY for Donald Trump
I must credit the great author Ira Levin for the following metaphor: “The aerialist looked down and saw the net being drawn out from under him.” Our aerialist, dear readers, is Donald Trump. He’s falling, and the reasons why are multiple. First, Trump has started to lose his mind even more in the last few days. Haven’t you noticed? The man has turned, before our eyes, into one walking, talking grievance, and he’s still a work in progress in that regard.
Now when he sees THIS news…….. Oh, when he sees this news if he hasn’t already…….. New voters!! New voters are registering like CRAZY. During the week of July 21, just after Biden left the race, the surge in in new registrations among young black women increased by 175% in 13 states. I repeat: 175%
This news is provided by the data firm Target Smart, who explained that they also saw surges in voter registration from Latinas. Whatever is going on? A MOVEMENT, that’s what! These numbers are so stunning that the Data expert was actually asked if he was sure the numbers were correct.
He answered by explaining that he “more than triple checked them.”
“You just don’t see that sort of thing happen in elections normally.”
He also explains that “people who are newly registered to vote are much more likely to vote on election day.”
Wow! The best news? Two of the states in which this happened are Pennsylvania and North Carolina. OK, people — we KNOW that these young black women are not rushing to register to vote for Assolini now! No, they want to vote for a woman who ELECTRIFIED them! A fresh face among a sea of stale old Republican woman haters.
It is Kamala Harris whom they seek. And it will be Kamala Harris they will get.
