This is just UGLY for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. While Donald Trump is continuing an embarrassing week in court – one when the prosecution is outlining some of the most sordid details about his relationship with Stormy Daniels, it’s easy to put out of mind that we still have a primary going on. Despite Donald Trump being the presumptive nominee, he’s still struggling to get 85% of the popular vote in just about every state where he’s on the ballot.

On Tuesday night, Indiana showed this trend continuing. Obviously, this is a state that’s reliably red and there’s little question about how it will vote in November, regardless of who the nominee is, but Nikki Haley, whose presidential campaign has been effectively dead since the end of March, pulled off her best performance since she suspended her campaign, bringing in nearly 22% of the vote.

She overperformed with 30-point margins in the suburbs of Hamilton County and Marion County near Indianapolis, where Democrats overperformed their margins in 2020 even with Joe Biden losing the state, indicating that Donald Trump still very much has a suburban problem that isn’t clearing up anytime soon, losing areas where the GOP was once very much dominant.

With 99% of the vote in, Haley will easily clear 100,000 votes, which is actually more support than the winning Republican candidate for lieutenant governor won in the state. Whether the polls look good or bad, people voting tells a much different story that doesn’t look good for Donald Trump going into November. Wherever you are, let’s drive up our numbers and re-elect President Biden and give him a Democratic trifecta on Nov 5.
