This is the last thing Donald Trump needs
On Thursday night, Donald Trump posted one of his familiar tweets about how he supposedly has a 96% approval rating within the Republican Party. It used to be 90%, then it was 95%, now it’s 96%, and yet Trump still can’t tell us what poll he’s supposedly quoting, because there isn’t one.
Meanwhile back in the real world, Donald Trump is – at least anecdotally – losing Republican support. Just ask the Lincoln Project. Or better yet, ask this conservative U.S. military veteran who’s still a registered Republican, but plans to vote for the Democrat this time:

I am standing next to a Kurdish soldier— Iraq 2005.
I’m a Reagan, Bush, McCain Republican who refuses to vote for Trump. Technically, I’m still a registered Republican.
However,
I will be voting for Joe Biden. pic.twitter.com/IiRUgrx9iA
