This is just plain ugly for Ron Johnson

Many people think the opposite of love is hate. That very well, might be the case. But there is another school of thought that the actual opposite of love is indifference. Indifference is very different than hate. Indifference basically means — the person feeling the indifference just doesn’t give a damn.

And if one is a Senator in a reelection fight, it might be considered a no-no to show indifference toward your own state. But that’s precisely what Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson appears to be doing. Per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, many Wisconsinites are somewhat baffled right now at the indifference shown by soon to be ex Wisconsin Senator Johnson.

This all has to do with the Oshkosh Corporation. This company has a contract with the United States Postal Service to deliver vehicles. Sounds great, right? Wisconsin would undoubtedly see a great deal of new jobs come out of this contract — good news for all involved. Not so fast.

You see, the corporation doesn’t want to manufacture in Wisconsin. They plan to do the manufacturing in the state of South Carolina. So it appears Wisconsin workers got royally screwed. And many are asking the company to rethink its decision to go outside the dairy state to manufacture. Not Ron Johnson, though.

In a stunning display of absolute apathy, Johnson instead declared basically that the decision was fine by him. “It’s not like we don’t have enough jobs in Wisconsin,” the indifferent Non-Senator chirped.

Johnson went on to opine that the TRUE issue for Wisconsinites is that there are too many jobs — and not enough workers to fill them. Indifference. On the other hand, Senator Tammy Baldwin is siding with the workers.

Manufacturing jobs have suffered a significant decline. It appears, though, that Ron Johnson never got THAT memo. It also appears Senator Johnson couldn’t give a damn about the workers in the Dairy state — his own constituents.
