This is just pathetic

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday Donald Trump scrapped his planned “Council to Reopen America” after he received huge pushback for filling the council with his own relatives and inept underlings. Today Trump moved forward with some kind of new council which apparently includes just about everyone in the government and the corporate world – many of whom say they didn’t even agree to be on this imaginary council.

But there’s one name that Donald Trump is leaving off his new council. Trump has added every Republican Senator to the council, with the singular exception of Mitt Romney, according to NBC News. That’s right, Trump is more focused on punishing Romney for having voted to convict and remove him, than he is on trying to solve this deadly crisis.

Of course this new council serves no purpose and isn’t designed to accomplish anything, beyond giving the faint appearance that Donald Trump is doing something when he’s not. So excluding Mitt Romney won’t change the outcome. But it’s the latest reminder that Trump is a pathetically small man.
